I tried to think of something we could do from the EPCSOA as a permanent reminder and way to honor Detention Officer Joseph Gomez who was taken from us by a drunk driver. I reached out to City Representatives Henry Rivera and Cassandra Hernandez who immediately jumped in and helped. Now there is a permanent sign at the crash sight in memory of Joseph. Thanks to everyone that worked so hard to make this happen.

A message to you all from the great Commissioner Carl Robinson! Thank you for always standing up for the men and women that wear the badge proudly!! We’ve all been waiting for this day for a long time. Thank you to the members that took the time to help with the campaign, took time away from their families to block walk and support Commissioner Iliana Holguin. These changes don’t just happen on their own. Commissioner Holguin had her first meeting today and we could not be happier. All we want is a seat at the table and to be heard. Congratulations Ma’am! Pete Faraone President-EPCSOA I would like to take a minute to thank Sheriff Wiles for supporting the hard working men and women of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and the role he played in helping fight for us to receive pandemic pay. Thank you Commissioners Court for letting me honor Sgt. Rick Aguilar today. You are missed Sarge, rest in paradise sir.. What a privilege to honor Marvin Ryals as the first County President of CLEAT! If you are an EPCSOA Member, please take some time to listen to this and get educated. Everything you have, has been fought for by those that have come before us. Charley Wilkison Michael Short Commissioner Stout braved the “concrete jungle” One of the safest concrete jungles in the nation thanks to the dedicated men and women that put their lives on the line day in and day out. That 5 mile walk was probably the most time he’s spent in the community since March while our members are on the frontlines everyday, including during the pandemic. Brothers and sisters in law enforcement, this one elected official does not represent how this community feels about you. Remember how important your vote is.
#StoutMustGo Thank you Commissioner Leon for continuing to support the men and women of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Officers Association. Public safety should be the upmost priority in El Paso County! Pete Faraone EPCSOA - President Thank you Commissioner Robinson for leading by example and always supporting our members! Lead, follow or get out of the way! Pete Faraone EPCSOA - President |
