Shift B / Team 2 at the Jail Annex spread some Holiday cheer at a local Transitional Foster Care Center this past Friday. These children are from all over the world including Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, etc. This facility is always in need of help and is always taking donations of clothes, food, & school supplies. Thank you to Officer E. Rios (aka Old St. Nick) and his wife Sonia for making contact and arrangements, and to Officers A. Ortega & R. Oliva for arranging the event. Also, a big thanks goes to Deputy O. Gonzalez for showing up to entertain the children. Several of the Officers, who had just worked a 12hr shift, were there to pass gifts and goodies, but the entire shift donated money and over 30 gifts to be able to put a smile on those children's faces. These kids were very thankful and even had songs to share. Thank you for your generosity and representing the Sheriff's Office with Pride! *The location of the facility and the anonymity of the children is guarded for safety
